Relevant articles from various journals Stroke, Neurology Lancet etc were also referred to. The search was performed between 21 phratry & 3 December, 2010. Relevant data from 1973 to 2010 was used for data analysis.Data Analysis An analysis of data was do based on central value calculation of frequency of vertebrobasilar stroke due to trauma and interrogation significance of population mean using ANOVA and P-value calculation.Results Football is the major cause of vertebrobasilar stroke followed by soccer, both contact games. From 4 samples data (Soccer, football, equestrian sports and yoga injury), it is obvious that the football injuries, with the highest central value (16.89) are the most significant cause of vertebrobasilar strokeStroke, in general is a temporary or long-lived loss of brain activity due to cessation or reduction of blood supply to brain due to an obstruction of blood flow in arteries, which are the channels of blood supply to
